Getting Started
This package is suitable for organisations with simpler needs. If you are thinking of hiring a bookkeeper this package provides more value at a competitive price. Drawing on years of corporate experience and our knowledge of the charitable sector we will help guide you through your financial challenges:
Lets get you set up with an accounting system! We use a cloud based system called Xero so you and your team can access it anywhere. Your subscription cost is included in our fees
Once set up we will do monthly updates and reviews of supplier payments. We will match transactions to your bank feed, and categorise each item of income or expense based on information and rules set by you, raising queries with you as needed
We will handle the end of the year handoff of information to your accountant, as well as liaison directly with them to reduce stress on you

Virtual CFO
If finances are starting to eat away at your time or you have more complex needs, like tracking restricted grant income, or VAT, this package is for you. Designed to provide strategic support for an organisation looking to move to the next level. As well as everything above it includes:
Build and maintain records of restricted grants and funder by category allowing you to identify any under or over spend by funder
Setup and run monthly payroll for up to 5 staff
Prepare VAT every quarter (if applicable) for you to approve and file it with HMRC complying with new Making Tax Digital (MTD) rules
Monthly 60 minute zoom meeting with a detailed explanation of what your accounts mean plus benchmarking, analysis, cashflow and budget review
Quarterly strategic review where we will strategize as to what options are best suited for your financial circumstances

Virtual Finance Department
Thinking of making your first finance team hire? Try our virtual finance department instead. We will act as your entire finance department, without you needing to hire or manage any employees. Providing even more value for clients who need a more hands on approach, support on making strategic growth decisions, or help tracking more complex business processes. Setup and run monthly payroll for up to 10 staff and set up batch payments for you to check and upload
Set up an expense claim process so that staff members can record expenses using an app on their mobile, for you to approve
Raise invoices for grants and sales in Xero where needed, based on details you provide
Set up and manage invoice chasing for overdue invoices to help you get paid sooner
Schedule supplier payments and prepare payment batches for you to check and approve
